Halloween is a special time of year at 528 Hazelwood, as it marks the anniversary of when Matt and I moved in to this magical place. This Halloween marked 6 years of 528. We’ve grown up, moved on, and gotten busier, but some things will never change. Like our first  and second Halloweens, I decided to have some of the crew over to hand out candy.
Well, it fucking rained. Seth, Pat, Randall, and Mindy showed up to scare children with me. Even Darrin came over and ate some candy. Seth wore his traditional Zeke the plumber mask and I sported the classic dead Ronald Reagan. Even with the rain we got a solid amount of trick or treaters. More photos after the jump. Happy 6 years!
Happy holidays! Merry Christmas! So last week or something we had the second annual xmas dinner party. I’m sure all of you 528ers remember last year’s christmas party. This year was a little less dinner and a little more party though. We got fancy this year and ordered a ton of Antone’s catering for the event. As usual there were plenty of sing alongs and rock and roll breakdowns. Yohman came! Kevin didn’t make Amanda take a cab. Smulski ate wedding soup. Merry Jesus.
]]>Well, a bunch of us from work decided to put in a fair amount of money toward fireworks this year. Simply, because we love explosions. On this beautiful day of July 3rd; Adam, Matt, Nayef, Lee and myself all went to Phantom Fireworks in Boardman. In a nutshell, we bought about $9000 worth of fireworks for this years festivities. We went back to Lee’s, played some basketball and ate some meat. Later, we ventured to a friends house to light these off. Everyone in the general crew came. We got through maybe 25% of the fireworks, then Tim’s dog ran away so we had to call it quits. We ended up leaving after searching for the dog, and guess where we ended up… Yep, Denny’s. We now have 75% of $9000 worth of fireworks to blow off tonight.

]]>Christmas is coming. Jesus told us to put up lights. So, being afraid of Jesus killing us, we put up those lights… and we put them up good. With duct tape. And love. And fear.
Why I didn’t do this 3 years ago? I’m not sure. But here it fucking is:
You’re welcome.
The site right now looks really shitty, but I’ll be working on that over the next week or so. I’ll be adding in all the currently chapter points so you can just skip ahead to the part you want to see, also I’ll be putting up the rest of the features that were on the DVD as well as probably adding the entire 4GB DVD image to a torrent site so you guys can download and burn your own real authentic copy!
Merry early Christmas!

While we are on the topic of giving thanks, what are you thankful for? I’m thankful for Nick.
I know what you’re thinking: “It isn’t even Thanksgiving yet, and you have a tree up?!?!? WHAT THE FUCK?!?!” Well, FUCK YOU! It’s never too soon to start spreading Christmas fucking cheer! Do you think Jesus waits to celebrate his birthday? FUCK NO! He probably talks about it months in advance! Like those people that say “Its 6 months until my birthday!”. Yah, Jesus does that! So why not put up the fucking tree?! Fuck.
But yah. So we put the tree up. It wasn’t as easy as last year , because this time we had to untangle all the lights. And we also didn’t have as many working lights. I guess some of the strands broke. But, it’s up. And beautiful.
Friday was Halloween, and our 1 year anniversary since we moved in! Wooooooo! Ok keep reading…
Well, first off, fuck Youngstown. They had trick or treating from 5 to 7, which sucks because it is completely light out during this time. Knowing this, we didn’t even bother trying the make the house scary. I chose to dress up as the Easter Bunny and Matt dressed up as a dead pirate (of course). So we handed out candy to all the little trick or treaters, and told them all “happy Easter!.”
Then a little later the whole crew came over, and then the party started! People wrestled, we drank alot of Jones Soda, and hung out. Hamza came, which is amazing. And some other stuff happened. But we got a lot of pictures, so that’s all that matters.
We are still going through our tons of photos, so another update will take place for everything else!
